Archaeoschool Students’ Session in the WFATE Conference held in Barcelona

The multiplier event, organised by the Col·legi de Doctors i Llicenciats en Filosofia i Lletres i en Ciències (CDL) for the Archaeoschool Project, consisted of the participation of the partners and students in a session of the International conference on Innovation in Education organized by the World Federation of Association for Teacher Education (WFATE), held in Barcelona.
The WFATE, which fosters international collaboration among institutions and associations in order to promote educational research and the teacher’s professional development, held its biannual conference in Barcelona from the 20th to the 23rd April 2016.
The Conference, which was attended by more than 300 experts in teacher training from all over the world, was cosponsored by the Col·legi de Doctors i Llicenciats en Filosofia i Lletres i en Ciències de Catalunya (CDL) and the Societat Catalana de Pedagogia (SCP-IE). This was the first time that the Conference was held in Europe.
In a Conference session, the students, teachers and researchers participating in the ArchaeoSchool for the Future project presented the activities they had undertaken in its context as a community of knowledge builders.
The session was attended by 300 experts in teacher training and took place on 23rd April 2016 at the Institut d’Estudis Catalans (IEC), the institution that seeks to undertake research and study into all the elements of Catalan culture and provides standards for the Catalan language.
